COVID-19
The current outbreak of COVID-19 is caused by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 that belongs to the family of Coronaviridae, a large family of RNA viruses. Coronaviruses are transmitted in most instances through large respiratory droplets and contact transmission, but other modes of transmission have also been proposed.
The time of survival and the conditions affecting SARS-CoV-2 viability in the environment are currently unknown. According to studies assessing the environmental stability of other coronaviruses, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is estimated to survive several days in the environment on different surfaces.
Due to the potential survival of the virus in the environment for several days, the premises and areas potentially contaminated with SARS-CoV-2 should be cleaned before their re-use. Although there is lack of specific evidence for the effectiveness of several disinfectant agents against SARS-CoV-2, it is essential to use products containing antimicrobial agents known to be effective against coronaviruses.
Coronavirus doesn’t survive after a disinfection procedure…
The average duration of a disinfection for an area up to 400 sq. feet is approximately 30’.
Disinfection instantly “kills” coronavirus as well as other viruses that may be present in the area.
Disinfection for coronavirus is non-toxic, the germ-busting agents we use are from a certified source, non-toxic, human-friendly and animal-friendly.
Disinfection for coronavirus lasts 24 hours.
For the disinfection procedure there is no need for people to be removed from the area. It can take place daily without any side-effect, given that coronavirus is an enveloped virus and the fight against it needs special, certified non-chemical disinfectants that target this exact kind of virus. Application of these disinfectants is done through low-pressure sprayers.
Disinfection for coronavirus kills the virus found outside the human body.
Disinfection for coronavirus kills the virus instantly, but doesn’t have a long “life span”, whereas disinfection for germs should be repeated at least 3 times per year.
Once the disinfection procedure is complete, the area is free from viruses, germs and microorganisms.
Coronavirus doesn’t survive after disinfection!
Housekeeping staff of SIETE MARES LUXURY SUITES sprays the AC units daily with special, non-toxic disinfectant that contains germ-busting agents and is environment, human and animal-friendly.

PROTECTION GUIDELINES

How coronavirus spreads
Coronavirus (Covid-19) spreads mainly from person to person, through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes, through saliva or the nasal cavity.
To avoid spreading the virus, measures of personal hygiene are extremely important. Cover your mouth and nose with a designated mask, your sleeve or the inside of your elbow when coughing or sneezing.
Wash your hands regularly with green soap or an alcoholic solution and apply alcohol or hand sanitizer frequently.
We also inform you that every area of our complex is equipped with hand sanitizer, disinfectants and other means of personal protection.
In addition, every suite will feature green soap, as it’s advised by dermatologists and medical personnel as disinfectant. Green soap works against coronavirus and most viruses, because a virus is a package of nucleic acid bundled inside a collection of lipids and proteins which can include a fat-based viral envelope. Soap destroys fat and subsequently the fat-based viral envelope, resulting in the collapse of the virus and eventually to its death, rendering it inactive.
